We are proud to announce the grand inauguration of the Mahila Saarthi initiative by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, on 8th March 2025, marking a historic step towards women’s empowerment and safe, sustainable mobility.
This visionary project, launched in collaboration with the Women Empowerment and Child Development Department, Transport Department, and CBEIC, aims to empower women by providing dignified employment as professional drivers of electric vehicles and ensuring safe, secure transport for female passengers across urban and semi-urban areas.
The inauguration event was graced by Cabinet Minister Smt. Rekha Arya, who extended her support and appreciation for the project’s focus on economic empowerment, safety, and green mobility.
