The Mahila Saarthi Scooty Training Program is a structured skill-development initiative designed to enable women to become confident, safe, and independent two-wheeler riders, thereby creating pathways for safe mobility and livelihood opportunities.
Recognizing the challenges many women face in accessing training centers, Mahila Saarthi adopts a home-based training model, delivered through registered and certified training partners.
Training is conducted near the trainee’s residence or at a mutually agreed safe location
Eliminates travel barriers and safety concerns for first-time learners
Encourages participation from women who are homemakers, SHG members, or first-time riders
Training is delivered only through empaneled and verified training partners
Trainers are certified, experienced, and sensitized to women’s safety needs
Partners follow standardized Mahila Saarthi training curriculum and SOPs
To confirm your Mahila Saarthi Training Slot, an initial slot booking amount of ₹500 is required.
The remaining training fee of ₹5,000 will be payable after your training slot is confirmed by our team.
This initial amount helps us reserve your slot and plan training schedules effectively.
The program follows a step-by-step practical approach, including:
Introduction to EV scooty controls Balance, braking, and acceleration Turning, parking, and slow-speed riding
Traffic signs and lane discipline Defensive riding techniques Emergency braking and hazard handling
Safe riding practices during day and night Handling uncomfortable situations on the road Use of SOS and emergency features
Using the Mahila Saarthi app Navigation basics Ride acceptance and communication
Duration: 7 days (depending on learner’s skill level) Daily sessions designed as per trainee comfort One-to-one or small-group training Final assessment and readiness evaluation
On successful completion, trainees receive: Training completion certificate Assistance for license facilitation (if required) Eligibility for onboarding as Mahila Saarthi Ride Partner (Bike Didi)
